Kenny Krott Kenny Krott

The Golden Lion Society Chairperson is no stranger to representing large groups of Penn Staters. For two years, he started every Penn State football game by running out on the field before the Blue Band and landing the traditional front flip as the Drum Major. As a Golden Lion Society member, Kenny is able to support the programs that he benefited from during his time at the University. As a grad student, Kenny admits that he is not in a position to give a lot right now, but he knows that every little bit helps. >>more

The Cromitys have donated to scholarships that enhance the cultural diversity of the University and have become members of the Golden Lion Society. Forty-five years after her graduation, Annie Campbell Harvey is still a member of the Golden Lion Society. She modestly denies that hers is an exceptional record of giving, saying only, "It's a good idea to get in the habit of contributing right away, even if you're only just starting out in your career. “The University is where I was able to define myself not only as a student, but also as a member of a community.” His Penn State education was made possible by alumni support that provided him with a full tuition waiver. Amanda started her Golden Lion Society membership by supporting her Senior Class Gift, the HUB-Robeson Center Sesquicentennial Piece, except she did more than pledge—she was the overall chairperson for the project! Amanda believes that the Golden Lion Society is important for recent graduates like herself because it recognizes individuals who decide to help every year. >>more
